SITE OF THE HARRY HAYES BUILDING
These photographs, taken between 1974-1978 by John Coats, show the demolition of this residential area in Chinatown to make way for the construction of the Harry Hayes building. This demolition and construction massively impacted Chinatown as many residents were forced to seek housing elsewhere.
